After starting his career managing wildlife based forestry projects in Pennsylvania, Matt moved to Colorado to pursue a career in the west. He has served as an implementation based forester for over 2 years with the district.

CONSERVATION FORESTER
Auston started with The Big Thompson Conservation District in 2019 while he was completing his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Auston loves to spend his free time hitting the slopes in the beautiful Colorado mountains. He has a passion for conserving our natural resources.

Debi joined Big Thompson Conservation District with a background in Regulatory Compliance, Management, Marketing and Bookkeeping. She was born and raised in Colorado where she owns a hay and cattle ranch with her family.

Outreach and Community Engagement Specialist
Jake joined the team in 2021 and works with both the Fort Collins and the Big Thompson Conservation Districts. He has always had a passion for telling stories whether in the form of a song or a documentary-style video. He is excited to be a small part of a team doing big things for the bigger picture of our communities and the environment.

Arnfinn has served on the Board of Supervisors since 2015. In addition to leading a robust professional life, Arnfinn also owns an organic farm near Loveland, CO.

Travis has served on the Board of Supervisors since 2020. He has worked for the Larimer County Natural Resources Department for 22 years and currently administers Larimer County's agricultural program on open space properties.

Ray serves as the Private Lands Program Manager for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Along with his three kids and wife, Jen, they have lived on and stewarded land in the Rist Canyon area since 2004. Ray is a strong believer in the possibilities for agriculture, wildlife and wise stewardship of our natural resources when folks come together, share, build trust and collaborate.
